FAQ

Q: What kind of repairs can you do?
A: For bathroom fixtures, we fix cracks, chips, rust, scratches, and holes during the refinishing process. Countertops with cuts, burns, or chips can also be repaired with our process.

Q: Is “refinishing” the same as resurfacing or re-glazing?
A: Yes, they all describe the act of repairing and refinishing porcelain, tile, or laminate fixtures in your kitchen or bathroom.

Q: What kitchen and bathroom surfaces can be refinished?
A: Bath tubs, ceramic tile, sinks, fiberglass, showers & shower bases, cultured marble and most all kitchen counter tops.

Q: Do you refinish Antique bath tubs?
A: Yes

Q: Should I do it myself with a DIY kit from my local home improvement store?
A: We do not recommend using the DIY kits. They are limited in the ability to adhere to the surface. Typically they are brushed or rolled on leaving an unprofessional finish.

Q: What colors are available?
A: We can refinish your surfaces in any color. If you provide us a sample of your color choice our manufacture can match our coatings to virtually any color.

Q: What should I clean my refinished surface with?
A: We recommend using only non-abrasive cleaners, such as spic & span, Fantastic, Mr. Clean, Lysol or any mild dishwashing liquid.

Q: Why should I not just buy a new bath tub or countertop?
A: With the high cost of labor and materials along with the time associated with remodeling, refinishing is an economical alternative.

Q: Do you offer free in home estimates?
A: Yes, we would be more than happy to.

Q: What if my bathtub has been refinished before and is peeling?
A: More than likely we would have to strip the old finish off and apply our coatings.
